We are excited to announce that the Zip Books program has resumed. The Orland and Willows Libraries were awarded a total of $15,000 in funding from the California State Library to enable our library card holders to get books and audiobooks delivered straight to their home via Amazon.
Call or stop by any Glenn County public library, Orland, Willows, Bayliss, Elk Creek or Hamilton City, to place your request and your items (up to 3) will be shipped at no cost to you from Amazon. Return them within six weeks and you can request more. Getting a library card is a simple and free process and can also be completed at either of the city libraries or county branches.
Zip Books is a statewide project of the California State Library. The Project was funded by the California Library Services Act.
