Wild animals came to Library Park today, courtesy of Wild Things, Inc. and the Orland Friends of the Library. Animal expert Gabe presented several of his animal friends, including a baby crocodile, a barn owl, a lemur from Madagascar, a kinkajou from South America, two giant hissing cockroaches, and a black-throated monitor lizard from Africa.
66 children and 34 adults enjoyed watching and learning about the animals. The show was a special event for the Summer Library Program. More special activities will happen every Thursday afternoon at 3:00 p.m., in the Orland Free Library. Check it out!
