What was the best book you read in 2010?

I could never pick just one. But here are a few books that I enjoyed in 2010:
Adult Fiction: The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet, by David Mitchell.  A vast, lively historical romance set in Japan at the turn of the 19th century.
Adult Non-Fiction: Warriors Don’t Cry, by Melba Beals.  Beals, who was one of the nine black students who integrated Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, tells an inspiring story filled with struggle and danger, as well as faith, family love, and friendship.
Classic: Persuasion, by Jane Austen.  Sometimes you just have to go back to the best. This is Jane Austen’s story of a second chance at love.
Children’s Fiction:  The Strange Case of Origami Yoda, by Tom Angleberger.  Dwight may be weird, but he can do something cool–origami. He makes an origami finger puppet of Yoda and claims that Yoda can answer any question. Is Origami Yoda really wise and all-knowing, or are Tommy and his friends just fooling themselves?
Picture Book:  Fletcher and the Falling Leaves, by Julia Rawlinson.  When the leaves start falling off the trees, Fletcher, a helpful little fox cub, tries to put them back on.
