Next week is the centennial of the Orland Free Library. 100 years of providing books and other good things to the citizens of Orland. So please stop by and wish the Orland Free Library a happy 100th birthday.
There will be events all week long: an Open House 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday, storytimes, a prize drawing, and even a time capsule. Be sure to bring the kids to the Birthday Party on Thursday. It will be a Big Birthday Bash, with balloons, animal bingo, a singalong with guitarist Gerardo, and yummy treats. Lots of fun for children of all ages.
And don’t forget to write in the Memory Book at the circulation desk. We want to know why you love your library, and what it means to you.
