E-Books, Digital Audiobooks, Newspaper and Streaming
The Library offers two eReading apps. Download and install the Palace or Libby (or both) app from your device app store. We also offer Kanopy, a movie/TV streaming service. You can now also access the New York Times online. They provide fantastic digital resources free of charge to library patrons which you can enjoy on-the-go!

- Once signed in, you may see your account options like current holds, recommendations and settings at the top left under “My Account.”
- With the top menu you may browse for items by “Subject”, “Collections”, and more. Narrow your search further with the left-hand menu.
- Because this is a shared resource, you must “borrow” items for an allotted amount of time just as you would a physical book. You must also request a “hold” for items that are currently being borrowed by another patron (you will be informed via email when your item has become available). Don’t want to wait? Browse under the “Available Now” section.
2) Options for Kanopy
- Once signed in, you will be in the “My Account” section, you will have the “My Information”, “Parental Controls” and “My Libraries” tabs to choose from.
- With the top menu you may browse for items, view your list, switch to a kids account or search for a specific title.
- It will cost “Tickets” to watch anything on Kanopy. The amount of tickets it costs to watch a show or movie varies. You will be given 15 tickets a month and will reset the first of each month.
3) Log Out
- If you have logged in using a public computer, remember to sign out when done.
