The Glenn County Fair will be held May 17th-20th at the Glenn County Fairgrounds in Orland. You can find a schedule of events here: http://glenncountyfair.org/ that includes a livestock show, performers, the famous Zuppan Dairy quads (four calves!), and of course carnival rides and games.
While you’re there don’t forget to visit the Heritage Trail and the Train Depot to learn a little about Orland/Glenn County’s interesting history (the stories and pictures in the Chrome School are fascinating). Then you’ll want to visit the library to read more Orland/Glenn County history! (click the link for a list of titles)
