Please join us this Sunday, August 25th, from 5-8pm for the Friends of the Orland Free Library Ice Cream Social fundraiser. This year’s event will include a car show, homemade cookies, live music at the gazebo, ribbon-cutting of the new library addition and of course LOTS of ice cream!
The Friends of the Library offer this special event every year in order to raise money for library programs (like storytime), materials (magazines, microfilm and books) and special events (Wild Things animal program). If you’ve enjoyed any of these items over the past year then you have the support of the Friends and their fundraisers to thank! Come out and help support the Friends and the Library while you enjoy some refreshments and entertainment. It’s the perfect event for families.
